• The rbxfpsunlocker project was archived in June 2024; its author points players to the built-in setting.
• The DFIntTaskSchedulerTargetFps fast flag (used by Bloxstrap configs to reach 300+ FPS) is not on Roblox’s fast-flag allowlist, which rolled out from 29 September 2025 — unlisted flags are silently ignored.

So “how do people get 360 FPS in Roblox” has a short answer in 2026: they don’t on the current client. A 240 Hz monitor at 240 FPS is the best Roblox can do.

How to cap Roblox at 30, 90 or another custom FPS

The in-game option only has fixed presets, so it can’t hold 90 FPS or go below 60. Set Roblox to 240 and let an external limiter do the capping:

• NVIDIA: Control Panel → Manage 3D settings → Program Settings → the Roblox player → Max Frame Rate.
• AMD: Radeon Chill in Adrenalin, with min and max set to the same value.
